When you use CompliantAI, we collect your email address, company name, and AI system descriptions you provide during the compliance scan and onboarding process. We also collect standard usage data (page views, feature usage) via analytics.
We use your information to: generate your EU AI Act compliance documentation; send transactional emails (magic links, compliance reports, trial notifications); improve the accuracy of our risk classification model; and communicate product updates relevant to your compliance requirements.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on infrastructure in the United States. Compliance documents you generate are stored and associated with your account. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@compliantai.io.
We use Resend for transactional email, PayPal for payment processing, Anthropic (Claude) and Groq for AI document generation, and Vercel for hosting. Each provider handles data per their own privacy policies.
If you are in the EU, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Contact us at privacy@compliantai.io to exercise these rights.
